Pedestrian Hit by Car in Fatal Lakewood Accident

Lakewood, CA (July 15, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash in Lakewood. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of July 15 at 37th Street and Cherry Avenue. 

The driver of the Honda was heading north on Cherry Avenue. He looked down and the Honda drifted to the right. The driver hit the pedestrian, who was walking in the street near the curb. The Honda continued on, hitting other objects. 

The pedestrian died at the accident scene. The driver was taken to a local hospital for assessment.
