
1 Killed in Crash at Almaden Expressway and Branham Lane
Driver Arrested in Fatal San Jose Accident
San Jose, CA (May 3, 2020) – One person was killed in a DUI crash in San Jose. The fatal accident occurred just after midnight on May 3 at Almaden Expressway and Branham Lane.
Three vehicles collided at the intersection after a 32-year-old man driving a Nissan Murano ran a red light at Almaden Expressway. He then collided with a Hyundai Tiburon, which then hit a Tesla.
The driver of the Hyundai, an unidentified man, died at the accident scene. The man driving the Tesla was not injured.
The man driving the Nissan was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. He faces charges of felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
