Garbage Truck, Car Collide in Fatal Palmdale Accident

Palmdale, CA (September 18, 2019) – One person was killed in a garbage truck crash in Palmdale. The fatal accident occurred just before noon on September 18 at Avenue M and 20th Street East.

A Honda Fit and a Waste Management truck collided at the intersection. The Honda was heading east when the driver slammed into the side of the garbage truck. The truck was making a left turn at the time.

The 41-year-old male driver of the Honda died at the accident scene. The garbage truck driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
