Man Hit by Car in Fatal Merced Accident

Merced, CA (September 1, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash in Merced. The fatal accident occurred just after midnight on September 1 on Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

A man was crossing the 1100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way when he was hit by a car. The man was pulled under the car. Paramedics found the man lying in the road. He died at the accident scene. The driver, who was underage and driving without a license, remained at the crash site.
