Car Rear-Ends Pepsi Truck in Fatal Oceanside Accident

Oceanside, CA (June 17, 2020) – One person was killed in a crash in Oceanside. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 17 at Mission Avenue and Airport Road.

A sedan was speeding on Mission Avenue when it quickly changed lanes and rear-ended a Pepsi truck parked on the side of the road. The sedan caught fire upon impact. 

The passenger, an unidentified man, was unconscious. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The driver was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Nobody was inside the Pepsi truck at the time of the crash.
