1 Killed in Crash at Olive and Cedar Avenues


Police Chase Leads to Fatal Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (April 23, 2020) – One person was killed when a police chase led to a crash in Fresno. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of April 23 at Olive and Cedar avenues.

Police officers pulled over a red Mustang at Fresno and Olive avenues. They noticed a gun next to the driver. The driver fled when he saw that officers noticed the gun. A chase ensued.

At Olive and Cedar avenues, the Mustang was spotted the car speeding and swerving between lanes. The Mustang hit a truck so hard that it ended up on the sidewalk in front of a nearby home. 

The driver of the truck died at the accident scene. The driver of the Mustang fled the scene on foot. He was later arrested by police.
