1 Killed in Crash on Alameda Street

Police Chase Results in Fatal Los Angeles Accident

Los Angeles, CA (February 7, 2021) – A man was killed in a crash in Los Angeles. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of February 7 on Alameda Street.

Los Angeles police officers spotted an allegedly stolen vehicle in downtown Los Angeles. The driver refused to pull over and continued driving. LAPD officers pursued the suspect.

The high-speed chase ended when the suspect vehicle rear-ended a big rig in the 875 block of Alameda Street. Emergency crews found two people pinned underneath the big rig.

The driver of the stolen vehicle died at the accident scene. The passenger suffered minor injuries. The driver of the big rig was not injured.
