1 Killed in Crash on Interstate 15 Near Centre City Parkway

Vehicle Hits Guardrail, Sign in Fatal Escondido Accident 

Escondido, CA (January 2, 2020) – One person was killed in a crash in Escondido. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of January 2 on Interstate 15. 

A 28-year-old man was traveling in a Lexus GS430 on southbound Interstate 15, near Centre City Parkway. He veered to the right and went off the road. He hit a metal guardrail and a sign. The man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the Lexus. He died at the accident scene.
