2 Killed, 5 Injured in Crash at Highway 101 and Interstate 280


Esteban Aguilar Jimenez Arrested for DUI in Fatal San Jose Accident

San Jose, CA (December 1, 2019) – Two people were killed and five others were injured in a crash in San Jose. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of December 1 at Highway 101 and Interstate 280.

A Dodge Charger and Nissan Rogue collided on northbound Highway 101 at the Interstate 280 off-ramp. Four people were inside the Dodge and there were three in the Nissan. The driver of the Nissan and a passenger were killed in the crash. One victim died at the accident scene, while the second later died at a local hospital.

The driver of the Dodge, 21-year-old Esteban Aguilar Jimenez, suffered minor injuries. Once he is released, he will be arrested for DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.

FDA Issues Warnings To Two Manufacturers Of Breast Implants

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) just issued warning letters to two manufacturers of breast implants for failing to comply with regulatory requirements. The FDA sent a warning letter to Allergan for failure to comply with requirements to conduct post-approval studies assessing the risks and long-term safety of two separate breast implant models. Both breast implant models were voluntarily recalled last year. The FDA also sent a warning letter to Ideal Implant Incorporated. That letter was sent for failing to comply with adverse event reporting requirements and current good manufacturing practice requirements. The letter was prompted by an inspection which was conducted earlier in 2020.
