Solo-Vehicle Accident in San Diego Causes Fatality

Fatal Accident

San Diego, CA (November 10, 2019) – One person was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in San Diego. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of November 10 on Interstate 805.

One vehicle collided on southbound Interstate 805, near Murray Ridge Road. A man and a woman were in the vehicle when it crashed for unknown reasons. One person died in the accident.

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
