Passenger Causes SUV to Overturn in Fatal San Juan Capistrano Accident

San Juan Capistrano, CA (December 14, 2019) – One person was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in San Juan Capistrano. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of December 14 on La Pata Avenue.

A Toyota 4Runner was traveling north on La Pata Avenue when a passenger allegedly grabbed the steering wheel. The SUV overturned. One person was killed in the crash.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
