Juan Hart Arrested for DUI in Fatal Pala Accident

Pala, CA (May 30, 2020) – One person was killed and another was injured in a DUI crash in Pala. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of May 30 on State Route 76.

Juan Hart, 53, from Garden Grove, was driving an Infiniti G35 on westbound State Route 76, near Pala Del Norte, when he crossed the double yellow lines to pass another vehicle. Hart lost control and slid into an embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The passenger, a 23-year-old man from Wildomar, was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Hart suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital. He was later arrested for DUI.
