Whittier, CA (July 28, 2019) – A man was killed after hitting a pole outside a church in Whittier. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of July 28 on Whittier Boulevard.

A vehicle crashed into a pole outside Praise Chapel Whittier, located at 16229 Whittier Boulevard. The impact caused the vehicle to split into three pieces. The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was partially ejected. 

The driver, an unidentified man, died at the accident scene. The cause of the crash is unknown.
