1 Killed in Head-on Crash on Fernbridge Drive

Tiannah Ruvalcaba Arrested for DUI in Fatal Fortuna Accident

Fortuna, CA (January 30, 2021) – One person was killed in a head-on crash in Fortuna. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of January 30 on Fernbridge Drive.

Tiannah Ruvalcaba, 25, of Phillipsville, was traveling north in a Honda Civic, while a Ford Mustang was heading south. The Honda crossed into the adjacent lane and the two vehicles collided head-on.

The driver of the Mustang died at the accident scene. Ruvalcaba was arrested for DUI and released to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries.
