Car on Tracks Dragged 600 Feet in Fatal Santa Ana Accident

Santa Ana, CA (January 6, 2020) – One person was killed in a train-car crash in Santa Ana. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of January 6 on Grand Avenue. 

A car was on the railroad tracks in the 600 block of Grand Avenue, near Hunter Avenue, when it was hit by a train. The train dragged the car more than 600 feet down the track.

The driver of the car died at the accident scene. A dog inside the car survived. Nobody aboard the train was injured.
