2 Crashes Occur in Opposite Directions of Highway 101

1 Killed, 2 Injured, 1 Arrested in Palo Alto Accidents

Fatal Accident 6

Palo Alto, CA (June 16, 2019) – Two crashes occurred in Palo Alto, killing and injuring multiple people. The accidents happened on the morning of June 16 on Highway 101.

The first crash occurred on the northbound side on Highway 101. A wrong-way driver hit another vehicle head-on. The wrong-way driver died at the accident scene. The other driver suffered serious injuries.

It is believed that another accident, located on the southbound side of Highway 101, happened because drivers were looking at the first crash. One vehicle rear-ended another. A passenger exited a vehicle and was hit by a third car. The passenger suffered serious injuries. The at-fault driver was arrested for felony DUI.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the friends and loved ones of the victim.
