2 Firefighters Injured While Fighting Silverado Fire

Victims Suffer Serious Burns in Orange County Incident

Orange County, CA (October 26, 2020) – Two firefighters suffered serious injuries while fighting the Silverado Fire in Orange County. The incident occurred just after noon on October 26.

Two members of an Orange County Fire Authority crew suffered major burns while fighting the Silverado Fire, which is affecting the cities of Irvine and Yorba Linda. The firefighters, ages 26 and 31, were taken to an area hospital to be treated for second- and third-degree burns. Both have burns covering more than half of their bodies.
