2 Injured After Car Hits Motel on West Sunset Boulevard

Los Angeles, CA (September 9, 2019) – Two people were injured after a car crashed into a motel in Los Angeles. The accident occurred on the evening of September 9 on West Sunset Boulevard.
A car hit another vehicle, crashed into a fire hydrant slammed into the Super 8 motel located at 1341 West Sunset Boulevard. Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to remove a man and woman from the wreckage. Both were critically injured and taken to a local hospital.
The crash tore off a wall in the lobby of the motel. Nobody inside the motel was injured. Building inspectors were sent to examine the structure. Speed was likely a factor in the crash.
