Passenger Suffers Severed Leg in Los Angeles Accident

Los Angeles, CA (January 13, 2020) – Two people were injured in a crash involving a possible stolen vehicle in Los Angeles. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of January 13 at 8th and Berendo streets.

Police officers attempted to pull over a possibly stolen vehicle. The driver instead took off and crashed into several other vehicles. The driver then abandoned the car near Eighth and Berendo streets. The passenger tried to jump from the vehicle, causing a severed leg. The victim was taken to a local hospital. The suspect was later caught and also hospitalized.
