2 Injured in Crash at Ocean View Boulevard and South 36th Street
Driver Hits 6 Vehicles in San Diego Accident
San Diego, CA (September 12, 2019) – Two people were injured when a vehicle led police on a chase and crashed in San Diego. The accident occurred on the morning of September 12 at Ocean View Boulevard and South 36th Street.
A police chase began on Imperial Avenue near 40th Street after police tried to stop a driver for an expired registration. The car sped off and crashed into six vehicles near the intersection of Ocean View Boulevard and South 36th Street.
The driver got out and fled the accident scene on foot. Police officers found the man, but nobody could identify him as the driver. However, he was arrested for having an active probation warrant. Two passengers from the car suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital.
