Driver Loses Control, Causes Pacheco Accident

Pacheco, CA (July 7, 2019) – A driver lost control of a vehicle in Pacheco, injuring two people. The accident occurred on the evening of July 7 at Rancho Diablo Park.

A vehicle veered off the roadway at La Vina Street and Via Peralta. It ended up in the Rancho Diablo Park, where it crashed into two mobile homes. It also hit an electrical box, causing a small fire. It also took out a fire hydrant, causing dozens of gallons of water to spout from the ground.

The two people inside the vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital. One mobile home suffered major damage. Nobody inside the mobile homes was injured.

The database contains medical device reports submitted to the FDA via its Alternative Summary Reporting Program from 1999 to 2019. Reports which were sent to this database were not, until recently, made public. The Alternative Summary Reporting Program is a non-public database, unlike the FDA’s MAUDE database which publicly logs medical device failures or defects for public review.
