2 Injured in Crash at S. Washington and Gold Streets


Shawn Harris Arrested for DUI in Sonora Accident

Sonora, CA (January 11, 2020) – Two people were injured in a DUI crash in Sonora. The accident occurred on the evening of January 11 at S. Washington and Gold streets.

A man and a woman were crossing the intersection when they were hit by a Dodge Neon. Both were hospitalized with moderate injuries. The driver of the Dodge, identified as Shawn Harris, 41, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Drugs were also found in the Dodge. He was arrested on felony DUI and drug charges.
