2 Injured in Crash on Highway 46 and Highway 41

Fidel Martinez Lopez Arrested for DUI in Fatal Shandon Accident

Shandon, CA (October 24, 2020) – Two people were injured in a crash in Shandon. The accident occurred on the evening of October 24 at Highway 46 and Highway 41.

Fidel Martinez Lopez, 70, of San Miguel was traveling on Highway 46. He turned onto Highway 41 and crashed head-on into an oncoming vehicle. Two people in the other vehicle were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. Lopez was arrested for DUI.
