2 Injured in Crash on Highway 50 Near Howe Avenue


Davvonae Brown Arrested for DUI in Sacramento Accident

Sacramento, CA (May 4, 2020) – Two people were injured in a wrong-way crash in Sacramento. The accident occurred on the morning of May 4 on Highway 50. 

A Nissan Altima was traveling east in the westbound lanes of Highway 50, near Howe Avenue. It collided with a truck carrying concrete and scrap metal.

The truck’s trailer reportedly flipped over the center divider and it spilled its load, along with the diesel fuel. The truck driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the Nissan, Davvonae Brown of Stockton, was hospitalized with major injuries. Brown was later arrested for DUI.
