Audi Goes Down Embankment in Ojai Accident
Ojai, CA (August 10, 2019) – Two men suffered major injuries in a crash in Ojai. The accident occurred on the morning of August 10 on Highway 33.
A 58-year-old man from Cypress was driving an Audi R8 sports car northbound on Highway 33, several miles north of Rose Valley Road. He was speeding when he lost control and hit a dirt embankment. The Audi came to rest about 150 feet down an embankment.
The driver suffered paralysis in both legs as well as a compound ankle fracture. The passenger, a 58-year-old man from San Clemente, suffered a brain bleed and fractured spine. Both were taken to a local hospital.
