2 Killed, 1 Injured in Crash at Highway 198 Near Highway 99

Andrales Wallace-Matthews Arrested After Fleeing Scene of Fatal Visalia Accident

Visalia, CA (June 10, 2020) – Two teens were killed and another was injured in a crash in Visalia. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 10 on Highway 198 

A car hit a pedestrian while traveling on westbound Highway 198, near Highway 99. The vehicle then overturned.

The pedestrian, a 16-year-old girl, was hospitalized with serious injuries. There were three people inside the overturned vehicle. Two teenage girls died at the accident scene. A third passenger, an 18-year-old man, was hospitalized with serious injuries.  

The driver, Andrales Wallace-Matthews, 21, fled the accident scene. He was later arrested for felony hit and run. He was booked into Tulare County Jail.
