2 Killed, 1 Injured in Crash at Magnolia Street and Chapman Avenue

Vehicle Hits Tree in Fatal Garden Grove Accident

Garden Grove, CA (July 30, 2020) – Two people were killed and one was injured when a car chase led to a crash in Garden Grove. The fatal accident occurred on July 30 at Magnolia Street and Chapman Avenue.

Sheriff’s deputies observed a Toyota Camry with license plates registered to a different year-model of the same car. They tried to pull over the vehicle, but the driver sped away.

The driver reached the intersection of Magnolia and Chapman. The vehicle lost control and collided with a fire hydrant and tree. 

There were three people inside the car. A man died at the accident scene, while another man died at a local hospital. A third man was hospitalized in critical condition.
