2 Killed, 2 Injured in Crash on Highway 101 Near Hudson Road
4 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Greenfield Accident
Greenfield, CA (July 21, 2019) – Two drivers were killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Greenfield. The fatal accident occurred just before midnight on July 21 on Highway 101.
The crash happened on northbound 101 near Hudson Road. A 71-year-old man from Salinas was driving a Honda Odyssey south while in the northbound lane. He hit a Nissan Rogue head-on. The Nissan was driven by a 38-year-old woman from San Jose. Both drivers died in the crash.
The woman’s car was then hit by a Ford Fusion driven by an 18-year-old man from Folsom and Peterbilt truck driven by a 24-year-old man from San Bernardino County. The Ford and the semi truck then collided with each other.
Inside the woman’s Nissan were two children, who were taken to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown.
