Jeanne Kendall, 1 Other Injured in Fatal Marysville Accident
Marysville, CA (January 30, 2019) – A head-on crash in Marysville has killed two people and seriously injured two others. The fatal accident happened on the morning of January 30 on Highway 70.
A driver in a Honda Civic was heading south on Highway 70, near Ramirez Road, when it drifted into the northbound lane. It went into the path of a Chevy Avalanche. The driver of the Chevy, 68-year-old Jeanne Kendall of El Sobrante, could not stop in time. She collided with the passenger side of the Honda.
The driver of the Honda Civic was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Both the driver and front passenger died at the accident scene. The rear passenger of the Honda and the driver of the Chevy both suffered major injuries and were taken to a local hospital. Two dogs in the Chevy were not injured.
