2 Killed, 3 Injured in Crash at Manning and Cornelia Avenues

Big Rig, Car Collide in Fatal Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (July 14, 2020) – Two people were killed and three others were injured in a crash in Fresno. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of July 14 at Manning and Cornelia avenues.

A car carrying four people was traveling along Manning Avenue when it collided with a big rig at the intersection. Two people inside the car died at the accident scene. One person was taken to a local hospital. Another person was trapped under the wreckage, but they were rescued. The driver of the big rig, a middle-aged man, was hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries.

The truck was carrying animal carcasses, and the road was littered with them. The crash also caused several power lines to be severed.
