2 Killed, 3 Injured in Crash on State Route 145

Both Drivers Die in Head on Accident in Madera Ranchos


Madera Ranchos, CA (February 29, 2020) – Two people were killed and three others were injured in a head-on car crash in Madera Ranchos. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of February 29 on State Route 145.

A 29-year-old man was driving a Chrysler 300 on State Route 145 when he tried to pass another vehicle. He collided head-on with a Honda Accord driven by a 37-year-old woman. Both drivers died at the accident scene.

A 24-year-old male passenger in the Chrysler and two women in the Honda, ages 24 and 45, were hospitalized with major injuries. State Route 145 was closed for four hours.
