Solo-Vehicle Accident in Irvine Leads to Fatality

Fatal Accident

Irvine, CA (October 28, 2019) – Two people were killed in a crash in Irvine. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of October 28 on Interstate 5.

The solo-vehicle crash happened on northbound Interstate 5 near the 405 Freeway. 


The vehicle wrapped around a pole. Two people were trapped inside. Both died from their injuries. Speed may have played a factor in the crash.

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months.
