Pickup Truck Rear-Ends Semi Truck in Fatal Caruthers Accident

Caruthers, CA (August 31, 2020) – Two people were killed in a crash in Caruthers. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of August 31 at Kamm and Jameson avenues.

A pickup truck was heading north on Kamm Avenue when it ran a stop sign and rear-ended a semi truck at the intersection. The pickup truck was dragged about 100 feet before bursting into flames. The driver and passenger in the pickup truck both died at the accident scene. The driver of the semi truck was not injured.
