2 Killed in Crash at Orange Street and Poplar Avenue


2 Vehicles Collide in Fatal Shafter Accident

Shafter, CA (October 5, 2020) – Two people were killed in a crash in Shafter. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of October 5 at Orange Street and Poplar Avenue.

An Infiniti sedan and a Chevy Impala collided at the intersection when the Chevy failed to stop at a stop sign. The driver and the front passenger of the Infiniti were both killed in the crash. There were three people in each vehicle. The others were hospitalized with minor to major injuries.
