2 Vehicles Collide Head-on in Fatal Montrose Accident

Montrose, CA (August 3, 2020) – Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash in Montrose. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of August 3 on the 210 Freeway

A wrong-way driver in a Mazda was heading west in the eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway, near Ocean View Boulevard. Just several minutes later, the driver, a woman in her 20s, collided head-on with another vehicle, driven by a 27-year-old man. One vehicle caught fire. Both drivers were killed in the crash. A passenger in the Mazda suffered moderate injuries.
