Car Collides With Garbage Truck in Fatal Granada Hills Accident

Granada Hills, CA (November 21, 2019) – Two college students were killed in a crash in Granada Hills. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of November 21 on San Fernando Road.

An Acura RSX with three 18-year-old men inside rear-ended a garbage truck in the 14100 block of San Fernando Road. The driver and front passenger were killed in the crash. The other occupant suffered serious injuries. They were students at College of the Canyons.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
