2 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Jamul Accident

Jamul, CA (June 2, 2019) – Two people were killed and four others were injured in a head-on crash in Jamul. The fatal accident occurred just before midnight on June 2 on Lyons Valley Road.

A 19-year-old man from Lemon Grove was driving a GMC Sonoma on Lyons Valley Road, near Reservoir Drive. The vehicle was heading east when the driver drove into oncoming traffic and hit a Jeep Wrangler head-on

The driver of the GMC and his 19-year-old female passenger died at the accident scene. The four teenage occupants of the Jeep suffered minor injuries. Some were treated at the accident scene, while others were taken to a local hospital.
