2 Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Interstate 680 Near El Pintado Road


Camille Veraanne Kimball Arrested for Felony DUI in Fatal Danville Accident

Danville, CA (June 7, 2020) – Two people were killed in a DUI crash in Danville. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 7 on Interstate 680.

A Ford Fusion was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Interstate 680, near El Pintado Road. The vehicle collided head-on with a Honda Civic. The two occupants of the Honda – a 46-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, both from Antioch – died at the accident scene.

The driver of the Fusion, identified as Concord resident Camille Veraanne Kimball, 27, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. She was later arrested for felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
