BMW Loses Control in Fatal Rollover Accident in Baker

Baker, CA (June 12, 2019) – Two men were killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Baker. The fatal accident occurred in the morning of June 12 on Interstate 15.

A 29-year-old man from Barstow was driving a BMW convertible north on Interstate 15. He had a male passenger in the front seat. The vehicle was speeding when it approached a slower vehicle and attempted to avoid it. The man lost control and went across several lanes of traffic.

The BMW left the highway and went down a dirt embankment. The BMW hit a fence and rolled several times. The vehicle then caught fire. Both men died in the crash.
