Palm Springs, CA (July 27, 2019) – Two women were injured in a hit and run crash in Palm Springs. The accident occurred on the evening of July 27 on Calle Encilia.

Two 67-year-old women were walking on Calle Encilia, just outside of the Agua Caliente Casino, when they were hit by a car. The women, both from Lemon Grove, were seriously injured in the crash. 

The driver who hit them, 84-year-old Leroy Patrick Silva, fled the accident scene but was arrested by police an hour later. He faces DUI and hit-and-run charges
