Carlsbad, CA (June 29, 2019) – Three people were injured after a car ran a red light and caused a crash in Carlsbad. The accident occurred on the morning of June 29 at Rancho Santa Fe Road and Camino Junipero. 

A 25-year-old man in a Hyundai Tucson ran a red light at the intersection of Rancho Santa Fe Road and Camino Junipero. The Hyundai hit a Honda Accord with two 22-year-old men inside. All three men were hospitalized with moderate to severe injuries. It is believed that drug intoxication contributed to the crash.
