3 Injured in Crash on Highway 68


7 Vehicles Involved in Monterey Accident

Monterey, CA (April 23, 2020) – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Monterey. The accident occurred on the morning of April 23 on Highway 68.

A Penske delivery truck lost control on eastbound Highway 68 and slammed into five vehicles – a Chevy Impala, a Honda Accord, a Buick Encore, a Lexus RX350 and a Dodge Ram pickup truck. It then came to rest atop of a Mercedes E-45.

The driver of the Mercedes, a 75-year-old La Selva woman, was hospitalized with unknown injuries. Two other drivers were taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
