Vina, CA (December 12, 2018) – Two adults and a child were injured in a five-vehicle crash in Vina. The accident occurred on the morning of December 12 on Highway 99.
The crash happened when a driver made an unsafe lane change on Highway 99 at South Avenue. The vehicle clipped a Nissan Altima traveling in the opposite direction. The Nissan was thrown into the path of a big rig and another vehicle.
The driver of the Altima, 33-year-old Megann Pitts of Chico, suffered minor injuries. Her 6-year-old child suffered major injuries, including a broken leg, broken pelvis and head laceration. Another driver, 54-year-old Patricia Dee White of Corning, suffered minor injuries.
