A car and semi truck collided on southbound 5 Freeway, near Newport Avenue. The car has lost control due to the wet roads caused by the rain. The car was stuck underneath the semi truck and caught fire.

There were four people inside the car. Three people were injured in the accident. Two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital. The driver of the semi truck was not injured.
