Car, Van Collide in Fiery Escondido Accident

Escondido, CA (December 14, 2019) – A father and his three children were injured in a fiery crash in Escondido. The accident occurred just before midnight on December 14 on Interstate 15.

A car was traveling north on Interstate 15, near Via Rancho Parkway, when it rear-ended a van. The impact pushed the van to the right shoulder, where it then burst into flames. A man and his three children escaped with minor injuries. The driver of the car, a 21-year-old man, was arrested for DUI.
