Ambulance Lands on Side, SUV Catches Fire in Anaheim Accident

Anaheim, CA (November 10, 2019) – A hit and run crash involving an ambulance in Anaheim has injured four people. The accident occurred on the morning of November 10 on the 91 Freeway.

A CARE ambulance was hit by a Chevy Trax on the 91 Freeway near Harbor Boulevard. The impact flipped over the ambulance and caused the Chevy to burst into flames.

A young boy who was a patient in the ambulance was injured, as well as two paramedics and a CARE attendant. All suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals. 

The driver of the Chevy fled the accident scene on foot. Investigators are still trying to identify the motorist.
