Man Arrested for DUI in Bonsall Accident

Bonsall, CA (December 16, 2019) – A man was arrested for DUI after injuring himself and three others in a bus crash in Bonsall. The accident occurred on the evening of December 16 on South Mission Road.

A 39-year-old man was driving a Ford Focus and heading south on South Mission Road when he veered into the opposite lane. He was then hit by a North County Transit District bus that was heading north.

The man was hospitalized with serious injuries. He was arrested for DUI and is expected to be booked into jail upon his release.

There were eight people on the bus. The bus driver and two passengers complained of pain and were evaluated at the accident scene.
