4 Killed in Crash on Highway 85 Near Cottle Road


Driver Arrested for DUI in Fatal San Jose Accident

San Jose, CA (May 13, 2020) – Four people were killed in a DUI crash in San Jose. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of May 13 on Highway 85.

A Dodge Durango was speeding in the southbound lanes of Highway 85, near Cottle Road, when the driver lost control. The SUV overturned multiple times.

Three men inside the Durango died at the accident scene. A female passenger was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. A fifth passenger was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was arrested for DUI.
