Jasmin Paramo Arrested for DUI in Fatal Strathmore Accident

Strathmore, CA (August 4, 2019) – A woman has been arrested for DUI after causing a crash that killed four people in Strathmore. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of August 4 on Highway 65.

Jasmin Paramo, 24, was driving an Infiniti SUV north in the southbound lane of Highway 65 near Avenue 196. In the southbound lane were two Harley-Davidson motorcycles. One was carrying a 49-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, and the other was carrying a 42-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman. 

Paramo’s SUV hit both motorcycles head-on. All four riders were ejected. All died at the accident scene.

Paramo was airlifted to a local hospital. She was released later in the morning and booked into the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility. She faces multiple charges, including DUI, vehicular manslaughter and driving with a suspended or revoked license. Her bail has been set at $100,000.
