4-Year-Old Boy Killed in Hit and Run Crash on Coalinga Avenue


Man Turns Himself in After Causing Fatal Richmond Accident

Richmond, CA (February 7, 2020) – A 4-year-old boy was killed in a hit and run crash in Richmond. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of February 7 on Coalinga Avenue.

The boy, identified only as Heitor, was hit by a Ford Explorer while standing with his father in front of their home in the 2200 block of Coalinga Avenue. Heitor was thrown into the air due to the impact. He was airlifted to a local hospital, where he later died.

The driver fled the accident scene, but he turned himself in the next day. He has not been identified.
